I was seen in a very short wait & was happy with the care & repeated directions to make sure I understood & would call if not feeling better after date given.
Today, on Christmas, they close at 3 om but they cut off walk in’s at 2 pm. So at 2:30 I’m turned back, left in the the lurch dealing with an unhelpful, uncaring and arrogant person at the desk.
I called the clinic and left a message in hopes of discussing this directly before leaving a review, but no one ever returned my call despite my providing contact information. I would have preferred to resolve this privately. While visiting family in New York, my husband went to this clinic with a sore throat, fever, congestion, body aches, and other symptoms. Shelly, the receptionist, was on video chatting with someone on the phone. I wasn’t sure she was talking to me or the person on the phone. She appeared to be annoyed and acted rude because I tried to confirm if she asked me to do the check-in and pay. I was not feeling well at the moment and wanted to see a provider soon. I think she could perform better on her job, at least, be polite. I paid for the service in the clinic she is working at. There are so many urgent care in Long Island. I have other choices.
