I was feeling "horrible". Very concerned as to the sudden onset. Optum on 4th street was very helpful and responded to my urgency to be seen. NP Daniel is my "go to" guy. He and the staff were all responsive, apathetic to my needs. I was diagnosed and scripts were written; within a few days I was back on my feet. Thank You to all the staff at 4th St Optum!
I called this practice to ask if they were accepting new patients and to verify that they accept my insurance. Scheduling told me BCBS was “too confusing” and transferred me to billing. Billing told me the same thing and said I should call my insurance instead. I explained that one of their providers is listed as in-network on my insurance portal, but she said she didn’t know, sounded annoyed, and again told me to call my insurance. Excellent teamwork
I really enjoy the care that I get at the Optum 4th St facility! However, their front desk, check-in lady isn't very nice. I went in April and May and both experiences with her weren't great. I didn't have my physical ins card, but I have it on my mobile. She told me if I didn't bring a physical one next time, they would cancel my appointment. I've never heard of anything like that.
Went there for a C and P exam through the VA. During the physical exam they are supposed to ask you to go as far as you can. This "medical professional" grabs my arm and starts pulling it as high as he can get it and then after asks for me to go as high as I can. No mention of stop when it hurts. He did the same thing with my knees. Its been almost 4 weeks and I am in constant pain. Takes me hours to fall asleep every night because of the pain.
