Been trying to get a refill and appt scheduled for 2 weeks after my doctor moved to this location. Still waiting on refills for my meds and in the process of finding a new primary bc of this office not responding!
My primary care physician recently left this Optum practice. Before leaving, she assured me that if I needed anything at all, I could call the office and I would be taken care of. Recently, I needed two prescriptions refilled. I called the office and left my request on the refill line. I never heard anything back. It was never called into my pharmacy. Customer service, how things, situations are handled and the practice manager as well are all horrible. Practice manager doesn't seem to know what's going on nor does he try to help. If you do voice your opinion in any way, he threatens to ban you or does ban you. I am friends with another patient here and it happened to him as well. In my experience, Optum Indiana’s scheduling process was shockingly unprofessional. I completed all intake forms, had multiple doctors send records, and prepared for weeks—only to be told two hours before my appointment that I would not be seen. The scheduler, spoke to me in a condescending way during our initial call, and the office manager later cancelled the visit citing vague “notes.” I was medically fragile and urgently needed care, and this last-minute cancellation delayed treatment by months. This place is outrageous! I’ve never been somewhere that nickels and dimes the way that Optum does. They make you schedule follow up appointments for anything, from medication refills to getting bloodwork results, just so they can charge you another office visit. The real kicker for me is this. I saw the NP here a couple weeks ago because of some abnormal thyroid levels. I went for the appointment, we talked for a long time, and she refer me to an endocrinologist. Great, right?
