My heath insurance approved me to see a different dermatologist but ended up seeing Dr. Wachsman because the girl told me the other one focused only on surgeries. Dr. Wachsman doesn't care about her patients and just looked at my acne condition for less than 1 month. In addition, one of the topical acne medication required prior authorization. Disappointing, I've been going since last year. I went there for several reasons, and none of my issues have been resolved since last year. Once I got there, it took 5-6 minutes to find parking, and when I got there they did not see me because I was late. I've been cancelled twice for a biopsy appointment. The first young girl who saw me told me that it is a wart and I needed to be very careful with it because it is very contagious. SHOW UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT EARLY. I was 10 minutes late and they told me I had to reschedule because my appointment time was only for 15 minutes. They did not tell me this when they reminded me about the appointment the day before. They also told me they had 3 people cancel that morning because they were late, and yet none of the dermatologists were available, which makes no sense. My mother has been going to NP Luo for the past 8 years. She met her at a different office and then followed her to Optum. She is incredibly thorough. I wish actual doctor's were as efficient as she is! I highly recommend her.
