This is what happens when insurance companies process claims improperly. As it turns out, this patient was covered with no bill to the patient. Too bad he didn't write a follow up email.
AWFUL and unethical. Dr(?). Stern pushed me to get orthodics all while telling me that my insurance covers it. What he did not disclose was that they would costs thousands of dollars and that I would have to pay out of pocket for them. When I got the bill my head nearly exploded.. $150 charge to put my foot in a cast... thats $150....for 3 seconds of what the Dr Scholls machine does for free... PER FOOT!
