I recommend to avoid the Optum network whenever possible. I have severe disease and requested referral multiple times. It's either denied or delayed, even after I have been to the emergency room and been inhospitalized. Optum is a shame of American medical system.
They have the worst patient care system I have ever worked with. They take up all your time writing down what you need, and then don’t send the actual doctors office the right information with what you need.
