Until the recent Optum "enhancement" this was a great lab. Even is I showed up to a full waiting room, these guys rocked and got things done in 15 minutes. Now you make an appointment. Turns out it now takes 7-10 days to get in for a lab draw. That is totally unacceptable.

I came to the Optum Northgate lab like I’ve always done, and they said I had to have an appt. I didn’t know this, but OK. I tried to make a lab appt, but they said they couldn’t do it and would have to go upstairs to make it. I went upstairs to make the appt and they didn’t have anything that would work with my schedule. So now, I have to go to my Rheumatology appt next week without having done the labs. Alan, who is a phlebotomist at Northgate, was so rude I put in a formal complaint against him to the head of the hospital. He didn't answer my question when I asked him how to check in. I showed him my health information card and he goes, "Is that a credit card?!" Why would I show you a credit card? Someone from the waiting room told me that I have to fill out a form to turn into him - which was my original question for him when he told me to sit down.
