I arrived at 4pm all employees but one left for the day leaving only one tec tech tech as I waited there were three patients ahead of me six more patients arrived. I waited until 4:30 pm and left without getting lab work done several other left as well One said he'd driven from Everet. He was told to go downtown. He refused and left. Very poor service and staffing.
No hate to the staff, optum is failing this location and Ballard. All week they have had Ballard lab closed with 1-2 staff members at northgate lab. Impossible to get in without a 2 hour wait, optum do better and not let your staff down by having to deal with such a mess.
Great staff, things can backup at times but the staff has has always been pleasant and efficient
I want to call out Gia as the first phlebotomist to draw my blood in my life without having to wiggle the needle a bunch or re-stabbing me several times to hit a vein. She even made it look easy too with my squirmy wiggly veins that like to collapse when drawing blood.
Closed early, no notice. Lab door is not labeled clearly.
