The receptionists and providers have been wonderful, but my PCP left the practice and they had no back-ups. This has happened twice in the last year
If I could have the option to select NO Stars, there would be no stars. My elderly mother had been coming to this facility for mor that 10 years, at least 15 years. She had a very bad cough, had a hard time breathing and had congestion. We tested her for COVID and thankfully it was negative. I called to make her an appt and they asked a series of question and asked if we had tested her for COVID and we told them it was negative. Every time we come to this Optum location we have a bad experience. The desk staff are the least friendly and helpful. The last time we came we waited over an hour because they were behind. I think from the time we checked in until the time we actually saw the doctor it was 1.5 hours. Today we were behind 20 minutes and they canceled our appointment. They didn't call to tell me so I still drove across town just to arrive and hear they wouldn't be able to see us. She offered to reschedule. We came because my daughter is havin... read more
While it takes a while to schedule with your primary doctor if you are willing to see any doctor you can get an appointment in a day or two. I am very happy with the care I have had at Optum
I was a regular patient there starting in 2019. I needed help with a weird assortment of long overdue problems. I had vertigo and a full body rash that we found out later is Erythema Gyratum Repens and a subset of it called Eosiniphilic Annular Erythema, which is a factory and sign of malignancy. The kind medical person who tended to me spent the next four years ignoring, or being completely oblivious the fact that cancer was raging through my colon the whole time.
