The workers here are incredibly skilled at drawing blood, they'll have you done in 60 seconds, even if they're collecting 5 vials. I typically get nauseous and dizzy when drawing blood but it's never happened to me in the years that I've been coming here. They're so fast and they don't poke around your arm for half an hour. When my doctor left this clinic, I opted to find another one here just so I could stay at this office for the blood draw station.
Went on a Saturday morning as a walk-in. I didn’t mind the 45 minute wait. I was very nice and respectful to the phlebotomist when explaining I’m extremely squeamish with needles and usually get light headed or feel faint/nauseous when having my blood drawn. Of course this happened to me towards the end. Instead of offering me juice or a cold compress, she VERY RUDELY told me I should go someplace else for bloodwork since I made her feel like she couldn’t do her job. The Optum lab draw station in Bethpage was an excellent experience. The facility was immaculate, and even though there were quite a few people, the wait time was surprisingly short. The phlebotomist who took my blood who unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name was extremely pleasant and professional. She made the process quick and comfortable. I highly recommend this location for anyone needing lab work.
