As a senior citizen on Medicare, I’m greatly disappointed that this clinic now only accepts advantage plans. The LaConner clinic is less than 10 minutes away, yet, Those of us that have supplemental plans will be forced to travel longer distances for medical care. I avoid driving any more that I have to, yet now, I and everybody else in LaConner area that does not have an advantage plan will have to travel out of town. Dr. Young is a wonderful physician. She takes her time to listen to concerns and is incredibly knowledgeable about a wide range of health matters. Clearly she keeps very up to date on her research. I have never felt rushed at this office. Messages are responded to promptly. Front office staff and nurses/PAs are also very friendly.
I have been seeing Erin Mallory for some time as my primary care person and appreciate her thoroughness and the genuine concern she displays. An added bonus for patients needing to visit is how pleasant everyone is at this medical facility.
For profit enterprises, not good if you don't have insurance.
We have gone to Island Internal Medicine for more than 20 years. Since Everett Clinic took them over it's horrible. Wait weeks and months for a visit. Yesterday my husband, who is sick, showed up for an appointment he'd waited for weeks for, and had been canceled once already by the clinic. AS HE STOOD THERE THEY CANCELLED HIS APPOINTMENT!!! They said they no longer take his insurance! They knew his insurance as he's used it there for years. They didn't bother to tell us they stopped taking his insurance. He signed a waiver ... read more
