Sad my insurance force me to use them. Is been a month of back and forward with the worse communication. Last was a lady called Andrea part of the leadership for patient advocate who commit to call to help and after a week never call. If you have to choose a health plan ensure is NOT handled by Optum or your life will be a nightmare anytime you need a specialized medication. You are a paper for them, not a human being who needs a medication because is sick.
I receive nonstop messages from Optum reminding me that my refill is ready to be processed. They were texting me and emailing me constantly and the text messages would wake me up at all hours so that I had to advise them to stop sending that automated texts. They then switched to calling me at early morning hours and waking me. I do not need these reminders and have been unable to block the numbers they come from. I am so grateful I made the change to this facility. It is extremely clean, quiet, comfortable, and much more private than other infusion centers. There are only three infusion chairs, each separated by privacy curtains similar to an ER setup, as well as a completely private infusion suite. My nurse, Sasha, has been amazing kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and she truly makes the entire experience more comfortable. While the majority of the customer service staff are very kind, the pharmacy staff are a nightmare. I am forced to use this pharmacy because of my insurance, but almost every single month there is an issue. They need more info, the meds are out of stock, “it’s in process”. It is insane. I’ve had the same medication for 5+ years, same medical issues for over 20. There is no new information aside from my condition getting worse .
