Our employer puts money on the card, Optum says it’s there yet they decline the charge when I try to use it at the doctors office. I end up paying my doctor out of pocket. I call Optum several times and they say the charge went through, but it didn’t and the credit remains on the card. Doesn’t make sense right? I have been extremely disappointed with the level of service (lack thereof). I have been trying for over 30 days to close my HSA account and move it to my companies new provider. I filled out all the right forms and sent them to Optum on 10/25/22. On 11/09/22 they mailed a check to my new provider, but failed to provide any identifying information with the check, so when the new provider received a check, they didn't know what to do with it, and mailed it back to Optum. Other than the commercials to come on my computer the man's voice is loud obnoxious volume is higher than others and other program and it's intrusive interruptive and discouraging. I would not get involved with this even if you were the last counselors in Idaho .

I saw the 'Bullying' segment on Midday News on KTVB, 10/5/20. It was very well documented. Thank you Optum for helping the community identify this very real problem.
