Had a procedure today at Optum DayOp Ambulatory Surgery Ctr. From the time of check in with Ashalee, who was kind, professional and knowledgeable. To the nurses, tech, and Dr Bianchi everything went so smooth, professional and efficient. Would highly recommend this facility. Thank you for making a very stressful day much easier for me.
I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Dr. Sokol on the day of my scheduled surgery. She refused to proceed because of my heart rate, despite my explaining that this has been my stable resting rate for decades, that I had pre-op clearance, and that I had anesthesia just days earlier without any issues. She was curt, dismissive, and unwilling to contact my other doctors for confirmation. Her repeated “I’m in charge here” attitude came across as arrogant and unprofessional. I had surgery June 25, 2025 on my right foot with Dr. David Ehrlich at this place and it was amazing. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave everyone is caring and understanding. I would for sure go there again if I need anymore surgery.
Not that any kind of surgical procedure is fun, but the entire staff here makes you feel at ease. I’ll also give a major shout out to Dr. Bianchi….i wouldn’t let anyone else do any type of procedure on my back or neck!
