“The laws don’t matter…” direct quote from an optum representative. Owen Muir, M.D. just posted a video on TikTok of your conversation in a peer to peer. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. I’d like to say your parents raised you better than this but I do not know them.
Customer service is extremely poor. If you speak to three different people you’ll get three different quotes none of which match the amount on your account page. A simple request/question often not understood. And you can’t be sure what you’re told is correct.
My primary care physician entered into a partnership with Optum about a year and a half ago. When the physician had his private practice, the service was great. Since going with Optum, the service has been nothing but poor. This review is NOT against my physician, I think he still does a wonderful job. I worked an internship here in the summer. The building is super nice/new. On the main floor, there is a coffee shop and lots of ping pong tables you can play during breaks. There are also outdoor walks that are very aesthetic. The floors are labeled by “neighborhoods” so they are pretty easy to navigate. On the 8th floor, there is a little snack cubicle if you get hungry!
I've made a congressional complaint against the VA and your company. I called your customer service and offered to provide you a copy but I was informed of your strict policy against receiving e-mail. This seems to be the only medium to inform you of the complaint.
