Customer service is extremely poor. If you speak to three different people you’ll get three different quotes none of which match the amount on your account page. A simple request/question often not understood. And you can’t be sure what you’re told is correct.

My primary care physician entered into a partnership with Optum about a year and a half ago. When the physician had his private practice, the service was great. Since going with Optum, the service has been nothing but poor. This review is NOT against my physician, I think he still does a wonderful job. I believe the lack of resources, limited training, and the poor practices, and procedures set forth by Optum are severely limiting the office's customer service. I worked an internship here in the summer. The building is super nice/new. On the main floor, there is a coffee shop and lots of ping pong tables you can play during breaks. There are also outdoor walks that are very aesthetic. The floors are labeled by “neighborhoods” so they are pretty easy to navigate. On the 8th floor, there is a little snack cubicle if you get hungry!

I've made a congressional complaint against the VA and your company. I called your customer service and offered to provide you a copy but I was informed of your strict policy against receiving e-mail. This seems to be the only medium to inform you of the complaint. This is not the full complaint due to character limits but it should give you the idea that I'm questioning the integrity of the process and your company. I signed up for their OnePass Select (business Optum owns) and on day one already had a horrible experience. If you sign up please make sure you wait until the first of the calendar month. I just signed up on Feb 26 was charged in full for a month, have to wait 48 hours until I can sign up for the services I want, meaning I cannot start until Feb 28th. Found out that I will be charged in full once again on March 1st. Called customer service for one pass select and was told there is nothing they can do. The rep even informed ... read more
