Do not see this doctor and anyone affiliated with optum. An absolute joke of a medical staff and office. Let’s go down their rabbit hole. Standard medical office practice, referral sent, office receives, calls you, and you set up appointment, simple right? Noooot with this lady or office. Called optum company 3 times, they fumbled my referral for 4 weeks, then I fixed it, then called to set up, doing their job, they then told me I have to release all medical records, the doctor will review, then they will call me for an appo... read more

Optum has recently taken over Avella Pharmacy in Phoenix AZ. Today, for the second time in as many months, l spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to fill two prescriptions. The result: Optum does not have either drug in stock. Although the meds have been ordered, Optum has no idea when they will be in. Optum's suggestion: Call back tomorrow and try again.

We've been successfully dealing with Optum RX for years, but their prices have escalated, and more importantly, their customer service has declined to a very unprofessional level leaving us no choice, but to go back into the local pharmacies. : (
