So angry with your pharmacy! This is the 2nd time I arrived and my meds weren’t ready. I have to take pre-meds now for a second day in a row. Your pharmacy doesn’t communicate with scheduling or the nursing staff.
My wife suffers from a rare form of extreme hyperemisis. The rarity and severity of this has caused confusion with a lot of health care providers who often don't know how to deal with her, causing the issues to worsen. When my wife arrived at Option, the staff were confused but immediately became respinsive and caring. The team here has time and time again gone out of their way to help her. Far and away they are the best people we have worked with throughout the entire pregnancy.
If you are working with a home health care organization it is imperative that is is a reliable one. Otherwise, direct communication with Option Care is a must. Once you navigate to "your" pharmacist there, everything goes so smoothly and she/he keeps you in the loop making sure supplies and delivery are met for the patient. We were extremely fortunate to have an outstanding pharmacist, Tamara, who went well beyond our expectations of care.
Some of the employees are phenomenal and very caring. However, the company overall is terrible. Find a different provider!
