Back in November 2025 I went for an infusion, during the IV process I started feeling woozy. I told the nurse to please stop trying to put the needle in as she was moving it around inside my arm to find a vein. She tried for another five seconds even after I told her to stop, I then tried to put the feet part of my chair up and couldn’t figure out how to do it. Absolutely worst to deal with. My son was sent home on a feeding tube. Option care came in and went over how to use the pump and supplies at home the day before we went home. No instructions on what to do when done with said pump and supplies. Billing issues and no one seems to know what’s going on. 1) 3 months later I’m getting a bill because “my insurance is invalid” yet my insurance sent me an EOB showing they requested more information from Option. I had somewhat of a PICC line emergency the day after discharge from the hospital. I reached out for help to the ph# on the paperwork that was included in my supplies delivery. It took several hours of Kathy’s time on Saturday, 4/18/26 to get many factors in place to resolve my scary issue. I am so grateful. Thanks so much, Kathy 😊
Not sure why the overall low rating because I've had nothing but positive experiences at Option Care . In fact, whenever I have needed infusion therapy or anything related to my PICC line, I always make sure the hospital I'm discharged from sets me up with Option Care. I have especially enjoyed the employees who work at the 72nd location, namely Jason and Cody, but all the nurses and pharmacy techs there have been outstanding.
