My father was receiving services through Option Care Health, and initially the experience was very positive. The staff was attentive, organized, and communication was consistent. We felt supported during the beginning of his treatment. However, once my father’s insurance stopped covering his care, the communication completely stopped. Every step was explained until you understand exactly what to do. They were professional and knowledgeable about each step.
The absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long while. If you’re fortunate enough to get a live person on the phone you’ll be sent or transferred to an automated messaging number that will send you to another automated number that may ring 50-60 times and never be answered. I finally chose the option to leave a message “and someone will call you back” only to hear the it ring 50-60 times before I finally gave up. Would not recommend! CONS: The registration process to get scheduled here was a nightmare!! I called sometimes 8+ times a day and left desperate voicemails each time for someone to please contact me back. They worked so slowly and if I had not advocated for myself I think I’d still be waiting. Also, I showed up for infusions at my scheduled time and needed to wait 45 minutes for my medication to be dispensed from the pharmacy next door!! Very mismanaged and inefficient! PROS: The nurses were kind and the facility was clean.
Blair is an awesome nurse. I would absolutely recommend Option Care. As a first-time patient, I couldn't have asked for more.
