Work/life balance not good
Option care pharmacy is not a patient oriented company. Service is not reliable. I received an infusion medication. I have to call a week before my infusion to remind them of my appointment. I will receive a call the day before my treatment is on hold. Please research this company thoroughly before using. Nurses are AWESOME. Pharmacy leaves a lot to be desired.
This company does not value your time and does not communicate at all. I was told the nurse would be at the hospital at 10am but she showed up hours later. I was told my delivery would be that night but it wasn’t which delayed my discharge. Then was told it would be delivered to my home by 10 am the next morning. Couple years back, a young man by the name of Emmanuel was so helpful and gracious in providing a solution to acquiring much needed meds. He was amazing!! I hope he is doing well.
I give 2 stars because I have no complaints with the nursing team. However the pharmacy and pharmacy staff are a different story. I would not recommend this company. They deliver medication days late. My family member missed 5 doses of antibiotics due to the local pharmacy being out of operation because of a maintenance issue. No contingency planning for issues. Lack of communication and could not even get my address correct for delivery even though I told the pharmacy three times to add the apartment number.
