Optimal is great! Office staff is always super helpful and knowledgeable on everything. They make sure the messages get to your provider. Ariel is amazing. I’ve been nervous of psychiatrists for years but Ariel really listens and doesn’t push things. I feel that she cares about your safety and well being. After being turned down by approximately ~30 psychiatrists up front in the last year due to severe medical complexity, I had seen an amazing psych at UofMD that reached out and knew Dr. Santos well and to my surprise, agreed to take me on a patient despite his extremely busy schedule. Dr. Santos is everything you could ever want in a doctor. He's flexible, reasonable, logical and kind.
