RecommendedDr Christy MD did everything he said he was going to do during my hip surgery. St Joseph’s hospital was the best. The nurses were in & out of my room constantly. Physical therapist worked with me often. I was taken outside to walk on the grass, sidewalks & the street. Inside I walked up and down, many times, on the fire stairs. The service at Optim is exceptional. The staff is efficient, friendly and well- educated. The surgeons perform excellent work. I have never been disappointed. My favorite surgeons are Dr. Hope and Dr. Sutherland. Dr. Hope replaced both of my knees and Dr. Sutherland repaired my wrist and my Achilles’ tendon.
Dr Sutherland is a very humble and compassionate Dr and I would recommend him to anyone and Brian his assistant is a great person too they just make you feel like family
Optim Orthopedics Healthcare is the best. I have had 2 knees replacements, the 1st one 4 years ago and my most recent 1, 3 weeks ago,and my husband has had 2 replaced this past year. The care we received was fantastic both at the office and at the hospital (St. Joseph Candler in Savannah) we have both healed very quickly from our surgeries with little to no pain, and my husband was out playing golf 6 weeks after his surgery and I am out putting and chipping at 3 1/2 weeks and feel great. The staff is very efficient and professional. I have always been seen on time when I have an appointment, which is very important to me. Dr. Nicholson is always attentive to my needs and very compassionate and always takes time to explain everything about a surgery that I’m about to have. I would and have recommended him to several of my friends.
