RecommendedTrying to sell a home and prepare for a move during a pandemic is a challenge. We are so grateful for the Opportunity House! We were able to donate several car loads of items including furniture that we would not be taking with us as we planned to downsize. It’s a great feeling knowing we are helping others. We definitely appreciate those who work here and were helpful in receiving all of our goods. We have never been garage sale people, we have always donated, it just feels right.

opportunity house thrift store looks better than it ever has since Lorrie has been the manager there inside and outside. I have been shopping there since it was downtown and I can tell you it has never looked better. I know Lorrie and her crew have put their blood sweat and tears into getting to look this great. Lorrie deserves a great deal of praise and a raise for all her hard work. I highly recommend you give her that. Great job to all of them proud to help volunteer and shop there. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Opportunity House in Vacaville!! I accidentally dropped off my daughter’s prom shoes on Thursday. Woke up at 3am this morning like a deer in headlights......as I frantically walk around the store looking for them; can’t find them. I ask for help and the lady said they were probably SOLD. Another lady came from the back I explained how I bought these shoes from Macy’s in Chicago. She FOUND them in the back. The receipt in the box and all. I’m so grateful.....my ❤️ is happy.
