Donna who runs all the scheduling was outstanding helping set up my mother for her cataract surgery. Dr. Gorovoy spoke to us at length about the options for surgery to help give my mother the best possible outcome. We are very happy with her outcome and experience.
Dr. Gorovoy is the best and he helped me out a lot.
I used to be a patient of the wonderful Dr Rabinowitz who retired. I was suggested to see Dr Gorovoy (cataract specialist). So disappointing. I am obsessed with cleanliness esp the eyes. He came into the room, was rubbing his nose (without gloves), didn't purell his hands and proceeded to touch machines, etc before lifting my eyelid before examining for a cataract. I will never go back to this practice.
They do not give their own staff any breaks, let alone time eat their own lunch. It is illegal and cruel, it has and will continue to be reported to OSHA, and employer rights of Connecticut. If you are in the waiting room for hours don’t blame the staff, blame your own doctor chances are they overbooked and have overlapped schedules. It’s a business and they treat it as such.
