I was at the Miami, Florida Antique Show on 1/22/23. I saw a counterfeit drop nose 24” dragonfly shade being represented as an authentic Tiffany shade by the Ophir Gallery company. I know this shade was counterfeit because in the 1990’s I manufactured that shade and others like it in China. This dealer quoted the price as $250,000. “Grab it now, it will certainly be sold at this show”, as the dealer said. The 1990’s retail for that shade was $250.00! Buyer beware!
I was sold a Tiffany Studios base which was fake. I was refused a refund. Keep clear of this dealer. The owners son delivered it to me personally, I picked him up at the airport and the owner, Jack Ophir is still denying the entire transaction. He’s a thief, watch out.
Ophir Gallery has a 4 star rating with 4 reviews.
Ophir Gallery is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
