I volunteered at the Operation Stand own weekend held this past summer. As I stood watch with other volunteers there were 3 veterans that arrived after "closing" for the night, 2 had walked there and the other rode a bicycle none of them were turned away. They were welcomed in then given a bed to crash in for the night so they could register for the assistance they needed first thing the following morning. That is what I call true dedication!

OSDRI is an absolutely tremendous local organization. I’ve had the opportunity to witness first hand the good that they do in RI. From housing to food pantries, assistance with VA benefits to legal counseling, they provide a myriad of services to assist our local heroes. The hand up that they offer is dignified and honorable. As a veteran myself, Dee and Erik assisted me with a legal issue and resolved it quickly.
