Not what it looks like I have lived in this building for a year now. I like my apartment a lot it’s very high. However there are numerous things that are absolutely ridiculous and making living here so much harder than it should be. I hope this review helps many people. PLACE IS DIRTY The lady "Liz" who runs the place is mean and rude, always in a bad mood. Building is dirty and infested with cockroaches. Hallways have stained carpet and smells like a locker room. you have to pay $25 every time you want to use the grill plus deposit. Security is rude also and thinks they are the police when all they do is sit around and do nothing. Elevators are ALWAYS BROKEN. Place is a JOKE. Dirty, Messy and with a full short retal visitors I lived in this building for 2 years and I had a terrible experience as a long term resident. No pool, terrible gym, No working, and bad-smelling elevators. The majority of the building is Airbnb (Terrible Visitors).

Going downhill Now an “AirBnB hotel”. Residents who rent being pushed out or leaving because of the noise and disruption. Revolving door of large families, bachelorette parties and such being squeezed into small units, 6-8 people in a small 2 bedroom. Not the best element and security a joke. Had a shooting a couple of months ago. Pool is super crowded & loud on weekends—seems people who don’t live in building have gotten access to fobs to enjoy the amenities. No control by management. Best Views In Miami This is a great building with great security. The location is perfect with easy access to all major hwys. South Beach is minutes away, Port of Miami, Miami Heat Arena, bayside Park, Downtown Miami, all within walking distance. Walking distance to all forms of transportation including bus, free trolley, free train, & metro rail so you could live here easily without your own personal transportation. Quality, efficient living I have lived in this apartment building for over a year. It has a lot of great qualities and also a few drawbacks. Not worth the money I've live in the Opera Tower for almost two years. The building has more dogs than people. They don't keep it clean. I've had to ask them to vacuum my floor's hallway on a number of occasions. As much as I love to swim I've never placed a toe in the pool again because of lack of cleanliness. The elevators are ALWAYS super hot. They now have a new owner who has the nerve to raise my rent by $300! I'm out!
Stay away! Parking garage is a nightmare - I'm surprised there aren't head-on collisions every day. We rented a unit there for a month. The night we moved in there was vomit on the garage floor right in front of the entrance to the elevator lobby. 30 days later when we moved out, the vomit was still there. 20-something-year-olds infest this place, partying and playing loud music 'til 4am. OPERA TOWER IT SUCKS!!! I have to deal with the disgusting smell of dog piss everytime I walk in the lobby, there are forks on my floor, just laying on the floor, like forks u eat with, the elevator buttons don't work or are missing, the management company is the worst I've ever even heard of! Talk about complete idiots! Beyond my unhappiness with the building, the super smart management company is now assigning parking spaces and making us pay for a second car.
