Edit 2025: Sadly falling off and becoming a joke among locals. I miss the old Open Range. Edit 2020: “Still the best dinner in Bozeman. Highly recommend the special (always something new), fresh and delicious.” Best dinner and/or cocktail in Bozeman. For dinner, their beef is unmatched. And for drinks, their bar tenders have the most unique and skilled recipes in the state.
This was the BEST steak I have ever had in my entire life. I am not exaggerating when I tell you my taste buds were melting and I had dreams about how delicious and exquisite the steak is here. I have never had a steak so good and I am so sad that they don’t have this restaurant in florida so I guess Ill have to travel to Montana sometime again to come to this delicious restaurant again. We travelled from Australia and are spoilt with great red meat. This meal however was exceptional. We had the 16oz ribeye and bison and could not speak highly enough, the only problem we had was that there was too much meat!! Our server was a lovely gentleman who tended to us regularly and was insightful on the cuts of meat. We will definitely be back.
