I am VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with Open MRI. I called them to ask if they do CT SCAN ANGIO Heart Coronary with IV Contrast. They said yes. My doctor sent the referral with that on it as well. Open MRI made the appointment with me to come in and have it done. They let me take off from work, arrive at their office, and had me fill out ALL of their paperwork, then they tell me they don't do these. :( VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

I wish I could split my review (one for billing and the other for the remaining staff). Johnny at the front desk was wonderful! As was the MRI techs (Sara?). Very sweet and patient. Unfortunately, the excellence in care is quickly overshadowed by billing(both in tone and lack of knowledge regarding patient rights). I had decided to be self pay in lieu of using insurance and I was advised I had to use my insurance per 'their' payer contacts(not true). The directions and administering the Open MRI on Biltmore Avenue was outstanding. One thing that helped so much. I was told that only when the loud pounding noise was on was when the film was being made. If I needed to cough or breathe deeply I was to do it after the clanging stopped. That one statement to me helped more than you can imagine. Thank you. Naomi H. Willis
