I have gotten acupuncture many times within the last 20 years and was excited to see Open Flow open and am so glad I decided to give it a try. I have had a few treatments thus far with David Derdiger and am so thrilled with the results that I had to write a review. First of all the facility is spotless and warm. Secondly, David is so knowledgeable and pin pointed my issue to the T after examining me. He had no way of knowing my shoulder was inflamed other than by his examination and expertise. He took time to talk to me all ... read more

David was recommended to me by a dear friend who swears he saved her life. So since I have had 10 years of different stressors and have not slept a full night in ten years, I decided to give it a try. Along with the stress ptsd and anxiety I have had pain in both my feet from many surgeries in the past 6 years. I went to Open Flow Acupuncture for lower back and neck pain and had a 25 minute gua sha and cupping session with David. He was kind, attentive, and made me feel really comfortable explaining everything since this was my first time ever trying gua sha and cupping. A few days later I felt noticeably better with much less pain. Highly recommend.

I had peroneal (foot) tendinitis for about 6 weeks before I decided to try accupuncture. I happened to meet David at a local event and soon after booked an appointment. After the first appointment, the pain of the tendinitis was reduced by 90%. David used both accupuncture and scraping (gua sha) and the result was amazing. The tendinitis still lingers a bit, but each time I go it is less. Basically 90% fixed after on appointment and another 2% each time after. I hardly notice it now. David is really fantastic.

David at Open Flow Acupuncture listened to my words and my body. My experience of the comprehensive exploration of my history and channel exam (physical exam) was comfortable. Though the history and physical troubles were personally difficult to review, his approach and sincerity about caring for me as a patient was evident. It felt safer to be honest than to short myself the chance at a much longed for convalescence. It's been years since I've experienced a "floating in nirvana" peace- free from my pain. When pain seems... read more
