Not Driade – The coffee is good, but i haven't found the same love for it that the other reviewer did--when i went there last night, they were only rated 90.5 by the health inspector and by the way--it's not in Chapel Hill, it's in Carrboro. The best coffee in CH remains DRIADE (even though both shops are owned by the same person and the baristas sometimes trade spaces).
carrboro's hipster hang-out if caffee driade is too far or if you simply do not allow yourself to leave carrboro's "i am so sustainable" ghetto ... open-eye serves carrboro's hipster their daily caffeine fill. you'll see many faces that frequent driade as well. the owners know the taste of the local hipster crowd and they deliver.

Chapel Hill's best coffee – I consider myself a coffee snob. The Open Eye has the best coffee I've ever had. I stop by as often as I can before work and get a cup. I wished they opened before 7:00. Always rated 99 or 100 by health inspector. You can't beat that! Reminds me of the 60s era.
