Looked at an apartment in harlan super cute and was perfect for my family. I called the office let them know what I found upstairs apartment was leaking into lower unit(101) I wanted. Wall was wet and had black mold, floor had 2 soft spots, leaking spot by the front door. Front and back door was unlocked. Looked a cute 2 bedroom apartment in Harlen,In First thing my daughter and I noticed, That of the ceiling tiles were wet ( possible leak in ceiling somewhere). As we continued Thur the apartment. I noticed 2 weak spots in the floor. Flooring was put over the bad spots. Someone could tripped and fell. But worse was. They had my neighbors address under my number and when I called to them, I basically got screamed at saying it was my fault. My furnace was also broken (never ended up working after they “fixed” it), and they had to contact my neighbors to get approval to work on it and they couldn’t contact them so they said they weren’t going to work on it unless I went over and got approval… because that’s my job to do. I'm in a housing program due to my disability and they will deny you certain homes due to that program. It's like they only allow low end properties to be rented under that program. Not very helpful for someone with disabilities
