BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN FEES! They will mention their fees & service fees. But they will not mention that they will take out fees to renovate the home from their “final offer”. BUYERS BEWARE OF OPEN DOOR. Bought in 2023. Open Door disclosures said that solar was owned. Both Offer & Addendum asked for proof that panels were owned. Received a receipt marked “paid” from Open Door for the panels. 2 yrs later find that solar is leased & paid for a period of time by the builder back in 2015. Solar City Lease states panels can never be owned. OPEN DOOR REFUSES TO REMEDY PROBLEM.
This is a 0 star company. The time wasted doing a video tour and having someone come in person cannot be valued. First off the appraiser who came said I had the nicest house he had seen in his 3 years at the company and around 500 homes viewed. After all of this work.. They come back $40,000 under the "preliminary offer" and say $15,000 in repairs when the house may need a few thousand max. After a week the offer had expired.
