I am now 52 years old. I've been to a lot of counselors in my journey learning to cope with ptsd and trauma. I can honestly say that I have had the best experience ever with Open Arms. I have never connected with anyone like I've connected with Dr. Jerez. I feel like I've made the most significant breakthroughs and learned more about myself than I ever have before.
Difficult to get ahold of the agency during working hours, and very inconsistent scheduling therapy appointments. Also did not feel like the therapist genuinely cared about my child or helping them. The first session (parent only) started 10 minutes late and some sessions ended early. As a fellow licensed clinician, I’m disappointed in how poor the overall experience was here.
They told me I had to cancel a same-day appointment the day before it was made or the morning it was made before the office opened.. not sure what kind of time-traveling universe they live in, but where I live that is physically IMPOSSIBLE.
