Took our dog there for seven years. He has been through parvovirus, kennel cough and heart worms. Every time I took him it was like pulling teeth to get any kind of treatment. And don’t even expect to get a phone call returned!!! Every time I would say I wasn’t going back but finally switched vets a couple of weeks ago and it was the best decision for our baby. Switched to Hernando Animal Clinic and was totally impressed with the staff and thoroughness of Dr. Dorris.
RecommendedDr Rickett and staff are amazing. they have so much compassion and genuinely love what they do. wouldn't trust my babies to anyone else.
Absolutely do NOT go here. Rude staff. I was told my dog was ready to pick up, mind you, I live almost an hour away. When I got there, I was told (on the phone, they wouldnt let me in even though she was looking right at me) that the Dr wasnt there and wouldnt be back for 2 hours and she couldnt release my dog. I am highly upset seeing as I have to pick my children up from school now in an hour and can't get my dog. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE DISAPPOINTMENT. SHADY.
I loved this place up untill they got a whole new staff. They still have the same doctor though and I love her. I won't be going back they couldn't even tell me anything they did to my animals. Beware
I love Doc. She cares about the animal(s) and goes above and beyond.
This place is amazing! The people who work here are amazing and kind! Dr. Julia and her employees genuinely care about all the babies they see! They are the most honest and caring veterinary clinic I've ever been to and I will not go anywhere else! Thank you guys so much for taking care of my baby!
I've been with these guys for 3 years. They are WONDERFUL!!!
I absolutely recommend Open Arms Animal Hospital. I have had to rely on them pretty heavily lately for medical care for one of our babies and for constant questions and concerns caused by the situation. They have been there without hesitation to assist me every step of the way. Their level of compassion for not only our fur babies but for us owners as well is such a welcome change.
