We have had consistently wonderful experiences at Opelousas General's South campus emergency room. The entire team—from the nurses and doctors to the support staff—has provided exceptional, compassionate care for both my mom and my son. Nurse MGR, Ms. Eva, at this location has been an attentive Advocate for us in difficult moments and her presence has been comforting and reassuring! We are so grateful for the excellent care we receive here and highly recommend this ER.

Took my daughter for bloodwork, ekg & xray. Everyone we encountered was so professional & just showed great table side manners. Made my daughter feel comfortable and i love that. Thank you all :)

I brought Mom to get her bone density injection today and were greeted by the most friendly Staff at the Opelousas infusion clinic, Mary Bird Perkins Center. These ladies make it such a personable and enjoyable and friendly visit. Katie the RN is so polite and professional. We were also visited by Jamie who visited with us to update Moms chart. She was so thorough and informative. Again smiling and chatting with us. We never felt rushed or that our concerns were not important. We were treated like family. We visit the center... read more
