Not only did they keep hurting me throughout my experience, not listen to me when I asked not to cut my toes- they also told me my tip is not enough!! And charged me more for tip. Never again will I be going here
While the manicure ended up looking fine in the end, the process of getting my nails done might have been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I have been getting my nails done with dip powder for 8 years. I had a few tips on some nails and asked for it to be taken off and replaced due to the fact that the previous tips I had were no longer secure and the color I wanted was slightly different. The most incredible nail experience ever!! I've been going to Opal nails for almost four years and every time they do an extremely meticulous, amazing job. Queenie is wonderful and really everyone there is fantastic. My nail shape and color is always perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. It is super easy to either make an appointment or walk in. Highly highly highly recommend! Best nail salon in NYC.
This is the TRULY the BEST nail place I have been to in all the cities I live in. I have been to so many different places in US to get a gel manicure and this is the place where they last the longest (6-8 weeks!) which is incredible. This is because the ladies at Opal are so meticulous and detail-oriented and do the best job. The gel manicure is more affordable than other places in the city (~$33 with cash).
