I visited opal heart today for my second piercing (first cartilage one) and it was such an amazing experience!! I was served by Bree who was incredible - I had hoped to get my tragus pierced but she said due to my ear shape it wasn’t possible, and I appreciated the honesty not to just take my money. She and the other staff helped me look through other options and were helping me every step of the way, explaining everything and letting me know what was going on. The entire experience was awesome. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The store was welcoming (and very clean!). My piercer, Moose was lovely and very professional in helping me work around my hearing aid for my first cartilage ear piercing. I felt comfortable the entire time. I will be coming back!
If you're not going to opal heart, are you really going to risk your health? It sounds odd, everywhere does piercings, sure, but when you have exceptionally knowledgeable staff, highest standards of cleanliness and practitioners, why would you want to go anywhere else!? I have had only a few piercings, explained my previous issues with fainting, and they truly looked after me not just during the procedure, but requesting I drop in for check ups to review my bodies healing process, and my own happiness with the outcome. Super friendly place and extremely knowledgeable staff. My only complaint is that the site of the piercing is pain free. I feel that a piercing should be painful as part of the experience but this one isn't. No swelling either. Tsk tsk 😉 Great place and I will go there again.
thank you Bree and Joel for being so thorough with my piercing consultation. They were both friendly, honest and realistic about why a specific piercing would likely not be suitable for my anatomy, and I can tell they really stand by their work and genuinely care about what they do!
