I’ve been seeing Dr. G for years and will never go to anyone else. The new saliva test they offer is also really cool, especially as a first-time mom. It gave me additional insight into my oral health and potential risks associated with pregnancy that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. I also really appreciate how thorough Dr. G is when reviewing results, diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis. I can't recommend Dr. Abbey enough. So many dentists rush you in and out in five minutes, hand you a quick fix, and send you on your way — but Dr. Abbey is different. She takes the time to actually evaluate your teeth comprehensively, asking the right questions and looking at the full picture instead of just patching the immediate problem. I would suggest a second opinion if you are given a treatment plan with significant work. I went in as a new patient with no issues, except minimal sensitivity, and was told I needed an enormous amount of dental work done that left me feeling confused and concerned. I went to get a second opinion and my now new doctor was equally as confused and already cleared up the sensitivity with an inexpensive night guard, not thousands of dollars of work. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Gonzales and the entire team at Opal Dental Studio! She is truly not your typical dentist- she is incredibly personable, warm, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel like she cares about you as a patient. She even surprised me with a sweet gift at my visit, which was such a thoughtful touch! The front desk and dental assistant were both wonderful as well. It’s rare to find an office where you feel this comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend!
