Always has been a great doctor, and continues to be so when I need my ingrown toenails removed
Put my husband on wrong dose of blood thinners. When my pharmacist son-in-law pointed out that it was the wrong dose, I wrote down exactly what he should have been on and why it was the wrong dose. Dr. Onuoha insisted it was the correct dose. Fortunately, the cardiologist corrected it.
The staff is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I called after hours to leave a message to the dr about why my prescriptions weren't at rite aid which the front desk lady told me was filled when i called yesterday! she answered the phone after 5pm and refused to transfer me to voicemail or listen to what i had to say then hung up in my face. I called bck and she somehow put me on block list. I don't recommend anyone going here!
I have been seeing him for several years for treatment of my high blood pressure, anxiety, and weight issues. He has always explained to me what I was taking and gave time to make eye contact and talk to me and get to know me and respond to me. He takes time to go the extra mile. He always greets me with a warm hello and handshake and walks me to the door on my way out.
Wonderful doctor and super intelligent. He jokes all the time and I have been a faithful patient for the last five years. Onuoha has helped me through bronchitis, pneumonia, broken bones, needle phobias, etc. The staff he have employed are super friendly and very accommodating. He cares a lot about his patients and his actions show!
