Technician misdiagnosed my heat pump, I wasn't able to catch him on the first visit to help diagnose the problem. I noticed wires were rubbing the coils in the condenser and asked the Technician if he rang out the wires, he states no he swapped the control board. Since my unit is only 10 months old and installed in a brand new house. After him swapping out a control board waiting 6 days to receive the new board. He was going to charge me a service fee. The technician came but was unable to clean my system properly due to the fact that I have 2 inch wall registers not the standard 4 inch registers. I still paid for a full cleaning even though I didn’t get one. It would be my suggestion for the people setting up these appointments to ask questions about the size of the registers in homes so everyone is aware.
