A great gym with a couple small QOL complaints. They do a great job on buying new equipment and adding things to the gym, but sometimes fall short with maintenance of what they already have (Can take awhile for stuff that’s broken to get fixed). That said, the vibes and equipment here are the best in lincoln, and I love the 24hrs as well. My favorite in lincoln of the 7 I’ve been to.
Was in town for a concert and needed to get my gym session in. As an Olympic weightlifter, it is often really hard to find a place that will let you drop in for open gym, has women’s barbells, and actually allows you to drop weights from overhead. So when I found this gym, I was pretty stoked. They not only had all of that, but they also have really nice Olympic weightlifting platforms and a ton of other equipment you might need like a reverse hyper, GHD, pull-up bars, squat racks, kettlebells, you name it. Excellent old school gym with good platforms for Oly lifting! Very friendly accommodating staff and great merchandise! Will return !
A great gym that struggles with basic upkeep. They do a good job on buying new equipment and adding things to the gym, but seem to struggle with basic maintenance of what they already have. Broken equipment stays so for a long while, bathrooms have stock issues, drink dispenser nozzles clearly have not been cleaned in awhile, etc.. There was an uncleaned rats nest in one of the recovery rooms for over a week. Recently canceled my membership. The gym is friendly and has for the most part good equipment, but had three major drawbacks. 1. Started to smell. Seemed like there was a floating odor every time I went. 2. Music was a bit excessive. A lot of the time people would be in there playing at full blast. 3. Equipment seemed to break and take a while to replace. Finally, I think the gym is a bit costly, not outrageous, but not cheap. Overall, if you are big power lifter and/or CrossFit, great gym.
