I’ve donated platelets in many places in the past. I have never been turned away until I visited Oneblood at the Davenport location for the first time. Mind you I was 11 minutes late and according to the receptionist there is a 10 minute grace period. In giving platelets, times vary in terms of platelet count and blood flow. When I donate I would normally give 3 units. Not attempting to try to at least get something so vital ….smh
