Have to share my experience at the One Blood Davenport Donation Center. I made the appointment on the app which was quick and easy. Their hours are convenient for anyones schedule. I was greeted by Crystal upon entering. She was friendly and outgoing while doing my vitals and interview questions. We then moved to the back which was also bright and clean. I’ve donated platelets in many places in the past. I have never been turned away until I visited Oneblood at the Davenport location for the first time. Mind you I was 11 minutes late and according to the receptionist there is a 10 minute grace period. In giving platelets, times vary in terms of platelet count and blood flow. When I donate I would normally give 3 units. Not attempting to try to at least get something so vital ….smh
