I have been donating for over 25 years. When I visit their website or I get emails stating that I saved a life it brings more meaning to my life.
Unfortunately this was my first time treated like i wasn’t even there, no one was in front of me, one person was donating blood at the time that I’ve arrived, one of the nurses simply choose to avoid me pretending i wasn’t there and the other one attended a lady that arrived after me and i kept waiting ……… until i lost my patience and left. HORRIBLE experience, whoever is in charge should reconsider allowing “professionals” like this compromise the place integrity and professionalism. I only wish i had both of their names!
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, there was no one ahead of me—only one person already donating blood. Despite that, one staff member appeared to ignore me entirely, while another assisted a person who arrived after I did. I had an excellent experience donating at OneBlood in Kissimmee. From start to finish, everything was smooth, welcoming, and professional. My phlebotomist, Franchesca (I might be pff on spelling), truly made the experience stand out. She was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring, which made the entire process easy and stress-free. Francheska and Kiki were soooo great today! I really despise getting blood drawn but I have to do it like 8x per year now because of a medicine I’m taking so it’s doctors orders. Francheska and Kiki made it so easy and painless and kept checking in on me to see how I was feeling. Kiki assured me that if I feel lightheaded that they have juice, cookies, water and even cold wet towels!
