I’m back at it again! Seventeen gallons already donated and now I’m working on my next 17! After taking some time away from donating blood, I recently visited OneBlood in Tampa, and it was the perfect place to get back into the routine. The location is easy to access from the main road, there’s plenty of parking, and the facility is clean, welcoming, and inviting. GREAT people, always friendly and professional
Tried calling 5 times in a 30 minute time span to set up an appointment and no one answers the phone.
This is my favorite One Blood to donate at. Not busy. Kind and relaxed environment. I’ve always had a good experience here. Everyone is very nice.
The center itself is clean, and the blood draw was fast and efficient (in and out in 40 minutes). However, the atmosphere was incredibly unwelcoming. My technician seemed irritated- huffing, puffing, and clearly having a bad day, making me feel like I was a burden for volunteering my time and blood. Donating is already uncomfortable, and a little basic politeness would be nice. I'll stick to the donor buses from now on.
