We were driving from Northern Nevada to Canada. The engine light came on. We googled for a top-rated mechanic and Fred’s shop came in at #1. Fred did a diagnostic scan, reset the O2 sensor for us and we were on our way. Drove back through today and had to stop by and tell Fred thanks again for his help. Sure wish he was in our home town! We are traveling in our motorhome across the country and experienced a sudden issue: our starter stopped working after it got hot. I called Fred's Truck Repair right before closing time, and despite the late hour, the mechanic took the time to talk with me and share his knowledge about potential causes. We broke a hydraulic line on our drive through town. Even though it was a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend Fred and his team dropped what they were doing to help us. I could not have been more impressed by this family owned operation. They went to great lengths to make sure that we were safe and able to continue our journey South. Thank you so much.
