We are traveling in our motorhome across the country and experienced a sudden issue: our starter stopped working after it got hot. I called Fred's Truck Repair right before closing time, and despite the late hour, the mechanic took the time to talk with me and share his knowledge about potential causes. If I could give Fred more than five stars, I absolutely would! We were just passing through town when our vehicle got stuck in park. We called Fred on a Sunday, and to our surprise, he arrived in just 20 minutes — talk about fast service! Not only did he diagnose and fix the issue in about 30 minutes, but his pricing was incredibly fair, especially for coming out on such short notice and on a Sunday. Fred is a great guy and a great mechanic. Have gotten to know Fred over the past year due to a number of issues and he is the only mechanic I go to and trust. Does great work and cares about each and everything he does. He was a great fit to buy shop. If your tired of the dealerships as I was go see Fred he will take care of you. We broke a hydraulic line on our drive through town. Even though it was a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend Fred and his team dropped what they were doing to help us. I could not have been more impressed by this family owned operation. They went to great lengths to make sure that we were safe and able to continue our journey South. Thank you so much.
