They buy houses and don't take proper care of them. They bought one next to me, and over the last 5 years I've watched it deteriorate. They ripped the deck out and didn't replace it. The landscaping used to be beautiful. Now the yard and bushes are nothing but dirt and weeds. I'd much rather have a young couple buy it and take care of it than have some realtor buy it, neglect it, and rent it out to people for twice what a mortgage payment would be. If you're not going to take care of the house, sell it to someone who will.
