Horrendous first experience. I booked an appointment for a Perm AND a men's haircut and style. I get there and there's construction and the entrance is blocked off completely. Unable to find a way to the Salon I was forced to park behind a Wendy's and walk. The door you enter in is not marked at all as the entrance and located on the side of the building making me feel like I was going in a side door I shouldn't have been entering through. Absolutely ruined my hair, the worst hair cut I've ever received in my entire life.
RecommendedLyndzay Avey did such a wonderful job doing my hair! She is very professional, talented, & overall a very nice individual to talk to. I would recommend her for any of your hair needs whether that’d be color, cut, or styling! You won’t be disappointed!

Yesterday I decided to give One Salon another chance from a bad experience December 2019...I called to make an appt and asked for a really good colorist. Reminded them what happened last time. I showed the same pic I did last time, and wouldn't you know it was the same experience nothing at all what I wanted. Paid way to much for incorrect color. NOT happy and feel awful about myself. 😞
I can't say enough about the team at One Salon in Novi. I was able to get in recently for a long-overdue cut and color and I felt completely safe and at ease. They are doing everything right to protect their team and customers during COVID. My hair is bi-racial and curly. I always get compliments now on my hair and color. My stylist Lauren Lea is the best. Thank you to everyone at One!
One salon is absolutely beautiful! For anyone weary with COVID-19 about returning or trying a new salon, this place is absolutely spotless top to bottom. You also have to sign a health waiver, all staff are in masks, and there is hand sanitizer readily available throughout the entire salon. I see iulia for my eyebrows and felt completely safe, taken care of, and leave with perfect brows. Couldn’t recommend more!
Finally had my brow wax appointment with Iulia today. And incredibly pleased to see how clean and sanitized the salon is, as well as the staff being polite and well trained. I was not worried at all for my health, seeing all the precautions and cleaning/sanitizing the salon is doing. I am very grateful the owner cares so much about her staff and clientele. ❤️ Thank you.
Stacey P. - Thank you for such a fantastic experience last week. I felt so very safe and well-cared for last week. The careful check-in including temperature check, lots of hand sanitizer available in all the areas, and verifying no known exposure to COVID19 set me immediately at ease. Everyone in the salon wore masks. And Stacey took great care with my hair color and cut, just like she has for the past 7 years. Truly a top notch person and I appreciate all the precautions. 💜
