SCAM ALERT! I requested a quote for plugged drain and was quoted $200 to $400 which was reasonable. He showed up the next day which was great. The scam started almost immediatly as he said it was a complex and big job. He said he wants cash only and $1,200! My kids were supervising him as I was in business meetings. When I came out I asked why the huge increase in cost and he told me because the job was hard. He was done in 1.5 hours and this work requires no special skill. He did great job on our badly clogged kitchen sink. He seems very experienced. He explained everything very well and showed all the steps he needed to do. Very satisfied with his work.
