I recently switched from a previous concierge physician model and I don't see much of a difference at all. The care that I have received has been exceptional, thorough, and friendly. The office environment is exceptionally comfortable and as someone who is highly impatient and doesn't like to be left sitting in a waiting room, the timeliness of service is better than I could have asked. Could not be happier.
Absolutely unacceptable billing practices If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a 25-minute video consultation with Nurse Practitioner Noraah Khan, during which no prescription was issued, no physical examination was performed, and no lab work was done . She simply took notes on my medical history. The real shock came when I received the insurance claim: $507 billed for this brief and basic consultation. Dr German Rodriguez, and the entire staff at One Medical on Las Olas (Ft Lauderdale), are fantastic. The office itself is beautiful and created a calm atmosphere. Dr. Rodriguez didn’t rush through my appointment like many doctors do, instead he took the time to understand my concerns, explained everything to me clearly and confirmed I understood next steps. I have fairly bad “white coat syndrome” (anxiety when going to a doctor), however his patience and kindness put me at ease quickly. He’s now my new primary physician.
