These guys don't even deserve 1-star. RUN-AWAY - RUN-AWAY - RUN-AWAY The only thing they would tell you is to replace the whole A/C and heating unit.. Quoted $13,000+ Checked with another guy and paid the trip fee again and he fixed the issue by just changing capacitor. I think these guys are just sales guy in selling A/C, heating units and know nothing about repair or diagnostics.
If there was ever a organization that you should not use it's one hour heating and cooling, they give bad service, exaggerate repairs, no options other than spend money, replace unit, then try to up sell you on how prices are about to go up, would not honor their proposal for more that a 'few' days .... June 26, someone came to check my AC. It has stopped working. The gentleman told me that he would take a look and see what was going on. He then came back and told me it was the control board. He told me that my AC unit was old and I really need to get a new AC unit. He said that he can get me a control board but it was not guaranteed it would work. My Daughter had a new air conditioner put in and had many problems with it. Too bad she and her family should not have to suffer in this heat. It should have been fixed the first time.
Bought a unit from One Hour Heating and Air of Kannapolis 4 months ago. Have had to call for service of that unit twice since then. Both times, they asked us to pay for the call even though we bought the full 10 yr warranty. Also both times, they took well over an hour to arrive. In fact, the first call we waited all day and they called at 7:00 to tell us they wouldn’t be able to come until the following day. Today we can’t even get the unit to turn on.
