If you are ever in Auburn you have got to give One Forty Grill a try!! Everything was 10/10. Pictured is the fried oysters appetizer with creamed spinach and lemon aioli. For my entree I had the pan seared salmon with apple cider glaze topped over a risotto and Brussels sprouts. The red pepper pesto really set off the salmon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One Forty Grill is a fantastic spot in downtown Auburn! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything came out fresh and well prepared, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. It’s a perfect place for a relaxed lunch, dinner, or a special night out. Definitely a five-star experience and a place I’d happily visit again!
Atmosphere & decor is a delightful combination of old world warmth & charm with an open kitchen area. The star of the show was Jaqueline as our bartender/ server who has a genuine sweetness to her that is priceless. Equally star worthy was the Cubano sandwich. It was better than any Cuban I’ve had in Miami or Little Havana for that matter.
We ordered takeout from One Forty Grill, and overall, the meal was just average. The spinach dip was far too thick, and the mashed potatoes were disappointing. The lamb chops weren’t bad, but they weren’t particularly memorable either. Nothing stood out enough to make us want to order again right away. That said, we’ll give the restaurant another chance because we believe every place deserves an opportunity to redeem itself. Overall rating: 5/10.
